The Director of Easylet is Rochelle Hawes, she is one of the original owners since the company started in January 1993.
Originally there were two Directors, who both worked together prior to the launch of Easylet at another local Worthing Letting Agency. When they left that company, they decided there was a gap in the industry and a new approach was needed in the lettings market which did not previously exist locally. With their combined experience in Residential Lettings, they were well placed to launch a new company - Easylet
Initially Easylet started small, operating from a home work station, offering free lettings advice and a legal documentation provision service to private landlords. Within a year the business took off and it was important to find new premises to meet the growing demand. They found a local estate agent, who had no lettings department and therefore it was an ideal stepping stone for Easylet. Lettings being a complementary independent service offered within the estate agency, benefiting both companies. Easylet was able to branch out into new areas like Shoreham and enjoyed the referral relationship that continued for a few years.
Not only was there a demand for legal documentation but also for introduction of tenants, property viewings and inventories. Easylet also started to manage a block of flats for a large building company in one of Worthing's most prestigious seafront blocks. This was a great boost and took Easylet in a new direction of increased services and full management. As the business became more prominent in the local area, it became essential to find private professional premises to meet personally with both tenants and landlords.
In 1994 Easylet opened its first independent office in Broadwater and started to employ additional staff. We remained in these first floor premises for the next 3 years. As the business expanded, it became essential for larger ground floor shop premises with easy access and window frontage for property display. Hence Easylet moved into the Tarring Branch in September 1997.
Since then, more staff have been employed, increased levels of services are offered including longer opening hours.
January 2008 saw Easylet become Easylet Letting Agents Ltd

Rochelle is committed to change, only when it benefits both Landlords and Tenants and our level of services provided. Expansion, image updates or any company purchases have only taken place when the time is right. Unlike many other agencies, borrowing funds in order to appear successful is not our ethos. Success speaks for itself and Easylet is now in our third decade in business - still going strong, expanding, upgrading, employing and regularly investing in training of staff with the aim of constantly improving the company and services offered.
Easylet remains to this day, an independent residential letting specialist.
