EASYLET TENANT FEES
Easylet is completely transparent regarding our fees
Full information is provided to you, in writing, prior to Easylet accepting a holding payment for a property
There is no fee to register with Easylet to look for a property to let
- Holding Payment = One weeks rent. This reserves a property, subject to referencing.
- Security Deposit = Five weeks rent. Deposits are forwarded to Deposit Protection Service.
- Advance Rent = One months advance rent is payable to commence a tenancy.
Fees may be charged on the following basis:
The Holding Payment will be witheld if any tenant/applicant/guarantor withdraws from the tenancy, or
fails a Right-to-Rent check, provides false or misleading information, fails to sign the tenancy within 15 calendar days
or any agreed deadline confirmed in writing. If rent is not paid within 14 days interest is payable at 3% above Bank of England Base Rate.
Any variation or change of contract, requested by a tenant, will be charged at £50 inluding vat.
Ending a Tenancy early, requested by a tenant: tenant will be liable to pay all re-letting costs and rent until the commencement of new tenancy.
(Limited to the amount of rent owed on the remaining tenancy).
Keys: tenants are liable to pay any replacement costs for keys, locks, locksmith invoice or security devices.
